Why I Do This Work

I’m Ramon Weatherall Sr., founder of BuildBetterDad and host of the Raising Karter Podcast. At just 18, I stepped into fatherhood, helping raise a 6-month-old girl who wasn’t biologically mine — but that didn’t matter. What mattered was presence. Over the years, I’ve raised four children — including Karter and Rylee — and learned that fatherhood is never about having all the answers. It’s about showing up, evolving, and choosing love every single day.

From Young Dad to Fatherhood Mentor

My journey has been raw and real — from late nights filled with doubt to victories that shaped my family. I've grown through it all, and now I’m helping other men do the same. Through my podcast, YouTube, and coaching services, I equip fathers to rewrite their story and become the kind of man their kids can look up to.
