I didn’t start this because I had all the answers — I started it because I’ve lived the questions. At 18, I stepped into fatherhood for a child who wasn’t biologically mine. That moment taught me: fatherhood isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. Today, as a father of four — from grown adults to my youngest, Karter and Rylee — I’ve learned that kids don’t just listen to what we say, they become who we are. This platform is my way of sharing what’s helped me — the tools, lessons, and stories — so other fathers can grow, lead, and show up with love. I created BuildBetterDad because I believe strong fathers raise strong families. My mission is to empower men to step confidently into fatherhood — not with pressure to be perfect, but with the tools to be present, loving, and consistent. Through years of raising my own children, podcasting, and coaching, I’ve discovered that real leadership at home starts with intentional growth.
